i just want to blog about what i saw earlier on. My almost pleasant train ride home. I board the train at Dover with Elva. It was pretty crowded but i though that was ok. Elva alighted at Redhill and i was alone again. After Tanjong Pagar or somewhere there, there were seats available so i sat down. Then when it reaches City Hall, a pair of foreign couples came in and they sat down. Paya Lebar. Four small kids got on and one of them sat down beside me and the other sat on the opposite. There was a man who saw and he shifted his seat and beckoned to the girls to take a seat. I thought that was really nice because nowadays nobody actually give a damn about such things anymore. Most of the time, especially working adults just feigned ignorance by sleeping or reading and refused to give up their seats to even the elderly. There was once when this stupid bitch even snatched a seat from an old man. I was on the verge of going over and scream at her but well, i had to control but deep inside i was cursing her. No shame at all? Anyway, ya, so the other two girls sat down as well. What happened next was that one of the girls accidentally spilled water all over herself. Then the female foreigner saw and she immediately took out her handkerchief and passed it to the girls who were actually sitting opposite them. The girls took it and dried their files which got wet and returned the handkerchief to the female. I thought that was really sweet. I don't think Singaporeans actually do that. I might not offer any help maybe other then some tissue papers if i ever carry them out. I sat at the corner and smiled. Such a heart-warming sight. When i was about to alight at Bedok, the people just rushed in without giving me the chance to get out first. Spoilt my pleasant train ride! But, before i went down the escalator, i glanced back into the train and i saw this really cute baby. That somehow made my day! =D
Precious you
