Gf was asking me why was it that i haven't blog for so long. i suppose she's the only one who bothers to come in here still. and for her sake, i shall blog a little little bit more often. to let her know of my life...which is rather mudane..

Work's been really busy and stressful. im so glad to have really fun and nice colleagues and events which kept all of us busy and happy. had office warming, christmas party with presents xchange, workshop at regent singapore etc. went to a colleague's place for wii after workshop. and days back went for karaoke with them. when you have an office filled with youngsters, its just so fun...

other than work, i have been meeting up with friends as well. With the 8ofus for wy's 22nd, timbre and steamboat's tmr! with fung around as well! well well...
and also with my other clique of friends. had reunion dinner and all. i simply love them all! Life's much more beautiful with u guys around!

CNY passed by really fast. had reunion lunch with paternal side and dinner with maternal. and im so sure that i put on weight these few days. that spells trouble. i need to fit into the dressesssssssss i bought online. and i love the dresses! pretty little things. its bad bad to get addicted to online shopping.

received many ang baos this year. happy! and the weather's been too hot. visiting is indeed tiring but its an annual affair and how i love cny! it's just a little pity tt V day falls on the same day as well. but then again, i didnt expect much out of V day so be it.

its back to work tomorrow..and i havent had enough fun.

work has been really really busy. time passes extremely fast at work and thats good. have got nice colleagues and there was really a sense of satisfaction when when candidates thanked me for getting a job for them. One of them even bought me low cal chocolate and offered to buy me a meal when he gets his first pay. But it can get really stressful as there are targets to hit. well, sales... lots of activities coming up. company's office warming, D&D and Xmas party. sounds exciting.

and i enjoy the view from level 56. :)

the previous post full of angst had been deleted. turned 21 and decided to write off bad debts. learn the art of forgive and forget. made use of once and shall learn my lesson not to trust so easily again.

I am having a bad flu. But people who know me well enough should know that i don't usually fall sick or get flu. so it simply sucks having to sneeze my nose away, woke up twice cause i was coughing real badly and the coughs woke dad up. He made honey drink for me so that i can sleep better.

i have been slacking for the past few weeks while searching for a job. been to several interviews, received few offers which i rejected due to long working hours or low pay. BUT...to be continued towards end of this post...

its been eons since i last typed something here. was really busy with school and exams till...2 weeks plus ago and was lazy till now.

results were out last friday. grades weren't up to my expectations but who else have i got to blame? i need to take a dose of contentment.

having been through 16months of intensive studying, i finally realized that its not easy to get a degree. the journey was indeed tedious and tough but i'm glad it's over. i have seen pretty much in the past 16months; people with various expectations, different attitudes and goals in life.

i really appreciate the encouragement of certain people, because without them, i won't be able to complete my degree successfully. i need to say a big thank you to my parents. they gave me the go ahead to take this degree without any hesitation. they don't expect me to pay them back because they told me that so long as i put in effort, i want to study, they will support me. mum provided me with bottles and bowls of bird's nest and chicken essence while dad listened to and gave me advices while i whined and complained. he cut fruits for me and even sent them to my room, gave me vitamins everyday and told me that so long as i put in effort in things i do, its enough.

thank you my dearest bf. thank you for listening to my nonsense, non-stop whines and complaints. and for printing my projects after projects for me. for binding and delivering projects to me. for your encouragement. i know he did not know what exactly was i frustrated about but he still listened. :)

thank you my group of friends. you know who you are. also for gossiping with me, to listen to my frustrations. and for being understanding, wishing me good luck in my exams etc. thank you dearest gf, yh, sah, jas, gene. :)

it's finally over! =D

and its time for me to take a break before i embark on the next journey of my life, to meet my own goals.

it seems that i'm not ready to embark into the working society. its indeed a paradox. on one hand, my parents told me to take my time to search for a job i desire, while on the other, everyone has been asking me if i got any job yet. i'm not one who can sit at home for months after months because i want to meet the expectations i have of myself. yet, i have got so many things i want to do. i have got to tidy up my super messy table and drawers (time to clear away stacks of notes and books!) and i want to watch dramas, read storybooks, plan both bf's and my birthdays and the December holiday with my family. if i get a job anytime soon, i wont be able to complete so much. and of course, i don't expect to get leave for december. what should i do.

and because of what my parents suggested, i called to reject 3 job interviews, went for 1 and am now at a loss. one of my uncle has been really anxious for me as well. he gave me suggestions as to where to search for jobs since months ago. and although my parents told me to take my time, i feel that mum irks the sight of me at home. yes, i do feel bad cause i'm so lazy to lift my finger to help with the housework, and lazy to tidy my own stuff. and i ought to be scolded.

it's been years since i'm in such a loss. i hate it when i have no directions. dad helped me with such a situation years ago after O levels. i was in a dilemma, a total loss then too. to decide between JC or poly. and dad "forced" me to choose poly. and i'm so glad i heeded his advice after some struggles.

i need my sense of direction soon...

I feel so down. Cause school reopened 2 days ago. And project meeting starts tomorrow. For the past few trimesters, we were able to slack for at least 2 weeks before all the projects' meetings started. But this time round, we can't. Cause the workload is scary. Damn scary. My brain cells died after the tedious analysis of projects, studying for exams and i don't know how am i going to cope this time round.

It doesnt help when my friends just started holidays, doesnt help when love is on 2 weeks' of block leave after his commissioning parade, doesnt help at all. Just 3months plus to go, that's what everyone tells me. Yes, 3 months plus of stress and hardwork before i can graduate. I can't wait.

It's been ages since i last blogged. Was busy with school. It was indeed a very tedious trimester. Completed 1 individual rpt, 1 group rpt, 1 ppt for ahrp; 3 written analyses, 1 major rpt, 1 presentation for imc, 1 test for im, 2 ppt and 1 mjr rpt; and 3 exams in total. everything in about 3 months. and i wonder if it's a comfort or torture to have lecturers praising our projects to the moon yet scoring few marks above passing grade, telling us its the best grade ever.

and im so worried about results coming out on fri. 2 weeks of hols are not enough definitely...
attended birthdays, went partying, facials, tuitions, had kushinbo after 10million years of craving but it was not up to expectations. =(

i wonder what exactly does the word 'qualifications' mean? came across few people and incidents which made me ponder over this. and im still puzzled by it.

Such as this manager R working at Suntec's Sizzler, nurse and instructors at O B S, doctors of this C hospital, a lecturer of mine, mr blink of our country's _ force. Are they qualified to be in their positions? i was totally disgusted by ALL of their behaviours and i really wonder, who put them in their positions? Are they qualified enough to be there?

Incident no.1:
I had Sizzler some time back and my group of four was puzzled by why our neighbour was served a jug of drink which was not listed on the menu while we had glasses of the exact same drink. It was totally not worth the money thus we asked the waitress if we could change ours to a jug instead. She brought the manager after what seemed like forever and this manager actually bargained with us. He was unable to speak in proper English, had zero knowledge of service recovery and training skills. How can someone with zero customer service knowledge be a manager of the restaurant?

Incident no.2:
J had a knee-jerk during an expedition at O B S and the swell on the knee was more than evident. nurse cleared J and told him to continue with his kayaking the next day. J's knee was so painful and he went to see instructor and she said since nurse cleared, then he must go. Yes, kayak with a knee all swelled up. J's friends were all asking him not to go to the expedition as they have eyes to see that the injury was rather serious. And for those who had kayak experience, one should know that capsizing is very common. So J asked instructor what if the kayak capsize and she replied, "then don't capsize!" Qualified nurse/instructor?
"Each trainer is equipped with the skills and tools to ensure the safety of all participants". (Quoted from http://www.obs.pa.gov.sg/1145960592565/1150181215773.html) and i disagree with that sentence. So will they be compensating J with a proper knee if anything happens? Are they really well-trained? I certainly question that.
J was OOC, scored a big fat zero just because he had serious knee injury and missed the LAST expedition. J worked hard, took part in ALL activities for 12 consecutive days despite struggling due to the ache in the wisdom tooth and just because J missed 4 days. OUT J went.

Incident no.3:
L went to the A & E of C _ H and the doctor looked at L and told L not to "cao keng" as L was unable to stretch out the leg due to severe pain. Doc A told L not to drama and immediately gave 2 weeks' MC to L without further examination. No x-ray or medication. She fixed an appointment for him with specialist but that would be few weeks' later. Perhaps she wants to see L limping and aggrevate the injury further. Qualified?
I came across a friend's blog and her eye was so painful that she went to the same hospital. She told the nurses there that her eye was so painful and they asked her, "just tell me whatyou want?" she had an eye abrasion. Sometimes i wonder, do they behave this way because the patients are not their relatives and they do not give a damn about their survival?

Incident no.4:
Lecturer K is very experienced in his _ _ industry but teach? I saw his efforts in trying but it was a chore to classmates and i. We had no directions in exam and projects. And i wonder if i can pass this particular module.
2 trimesters ago, Lecturer S was horrid in his teaching as well. From my own opinion, i felt that S did not try at all but he was really good at scraping it through. Oh and after that, he disappeared with our projects' grades. Wow.

Incident no.5:
Mr blink of S _ F knows nothing about being impartial. Being in his position, having that rank on his shoulder, he is not concerned with others at all. He picks on people. He handles issues on subjective manner, not objective. I though people in his position in such a prestigious organization, he ought to treat people in a fair manner. I really don't want to pay taxes to pay such a person.

Qualifications? Tell me about it.

I can never concentrate on my projects and suddenly, i have the urge to blog a little here.

sometime last week was presentation 1 of IM and our group did pretty well. May the NP juice continue to flow.
and together with meiyi, we met siew cheng in bugis and had dinner at fish n co before we headed down to bali lane for drinks at coffee nation. yes, some beer at coffee nation. dont ask me why. photos are still on my hp and i dont upload pics from my hp usually...=X

i attended lesson on fri morning and it was a wasted trip. DRY and great lecturer made me sleepy. had lunch at cine foodcourt with classmates before shopping around a bit. i bought macarons for dearest and squashed it. great. met the gang for dinner at ehub and we headed to justin's place for mj. played till 1am or so before we headed home. first hour of V day was spent beside <3. =)

met him and we headed to PS to walk around. bought dvds as we intended to watch it in the night. i told baby ten thousands times NOT to buy me flowers as i had received enough from him the past few years. flowers die after few days and there's no end to comparisons. one stalk vs 1 bouquet of 5 vs 9 vs 12 vs 24 etc...list goes on so yes, no end to comparison and i told him NOT to spend too much on my present. we left PS for central and had dinner at sun with moon. outdoor seating was nice as the spore river was just behind. and he knows we love japanese cuisine.

Yuan xiao jie kuai le! it's officially the last day of CNY. How time flies. and i just totalled up my ang bao collections. much lesser that last year's but still a little over 400. i ought to be contented.
This year CNY was a bit different from usual. I still had reunion dinner @ uncle's and there were loads of fun playing sequence etc. And day one was to temples before checking in the holiday bungalow at pasir ris. it's supposedly a five days chalet but i checked out on thurs cuz i was tired. first 2 days we had family gatherings there. and it was steamboat and aunt came early to make really nice popiahs etc. i wonder how much weight did i put on. we watched shows after shows, played games after games, and we ate and ate, mahjong and mahjong. its rather amazing tt my cousins of ages 8 and up know how to play mahjong. it's indeed a family of geniuses! =P proud of my family! ok i admit im the least brainy. and i forgot that i brought my camera and left it to collect dust somewhere.

and Wednesday J, jas, gerald, aisah and mandy came! it was supposed to be 8ofus but had last min changes. we had the "best steamboat jas ever had and she had so much of the msg soup" and played cards and mahjong. and im happy to say that i finally won that little bit in mahjong! jas n gerald didnt stay and the rest of us watched dvds till the next morning..and yes, no pictures, i wonder what ever happened to my camera...and it was fun fun fun! <3 a pity the rest were in camp if not i know it's gg to be chaos.

and friday was to dearest's social night. it was held at grand copth waterfront. and i saw eddy's husband at the entrance. so he went over to be their new FOM. what a small world. food was alright and i rmbed laughing non-stop towards the end cause of his hilarious squadmates and all.

having enjoyed cny non-teaching break totally, it was back to hectic school days. projects after projects and its going to be endless...i simply dread sch. =( lets hope it's all gg to be worthwhile.......

and 2 days ago that sat, met dearest to go see laptops. now i have so many choices i dont know which one to get. and back to his place for dinner before setting off for clarke quay. it was azm's farewell. she flew off hours ago to perth for a gd 3 years. we had waraku@central and attendance for 8ofus was extremely wonderful. it's been a long time and i love my friends. and of course photo-takings and to rebel and i reached home around 3am. ok i love my friends. =)

It's officially the last day of holidays. Time flies like nobody's business. It's back to school tomorrow. =( I DONT WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had Mdm Lim's 21st birthday celebration at the marriott's. Smacked in the middle of orchard road, it was simply...shiok. room's werent =D but we had FUN still. i love the 8ofus and i hope 2009 will be a year full of meetupsssssssssssss.
oh and results came out while i was in the hotel. and i got so afraid. werent able to check so baby helped me. and im soooo glad that i managed to get through the 3 modules although my grades dropped. but i got back relief and enjoyed the rest of my evening. =)

most photos and videos should be kept within the 8ofus. too "glam" to be shown. we played drinking game, went partyworld till 5am. and i dread turning 21.

the following day was meetup with meiyi after lunch at crystal jade's with the remaining 8ofus. and i was so so so full!
met meiyi at borders but she's not one to buy books. she got some pens and TEENAGE. TEEN. she thinks she's still one. and she got me a silver pen for me to decorate birthday cards and the remaining 60cents of the borders card. THANKS ah! and we shopped around before meeting guany at PS for dinner. and we had ice monster! i miss taipei...having ice in that cold weather...brrRRrrr...

and fri was to 85 with baby and his family after visiting his niece? i had "la-la" after craving for it for 1000000 years. yummy!!!

and sat we celebrated our 3 years at outback steakhouse after shopping...=)

I feel so excited. i dont know why.

another weekend went by sooooo fast. it was enjoyable with the company of my love and his friends. :)
friday was just dinner with his sis and him at sakae before rushing home to watch 9pm show.
sat we took a longgggggg bus journey to bishan for his bmt friend's 21st. few of them reached early for mahjong. then there was bbq and catered food. the bdae guy started chasing ppl with whip cream. it was insane. luckily baby managed to run fast and hid well. haha. but poor kavan ended up begging me to wipe the whip cream off for him. wanted to leave around 10plus but we ended drinking red then mix while playing card games till 2plus. the guys were not sober and i guess i was the only clear-minded one around. just a little dizzy but i managed to reach home safely just before 3am. and it was weird cause i took quite sometime to fall aslp..

woke up at 11plus and cause of some itchy fingers, ended up at the boy's playing mahjong with kavan. yeah their book-in day and we played till 7 before had to rush off for dinner.

meeting uni friends for mahjong and wii at val's tomorrow. im gg to travel to the other side of spore so may i not get lost. and wed to marriott for wanyi's 21st bdae stay. HAPPY 21st dearest wanyi!!! u r really the auntie among the 8ofus! then thurs to meet meiyi and guany and its the weekends again! i look forward to weekends soooo much! esp the coming one..HA! =)

HAPPY NEW YEAR! May 2009 to be a great year! There were humming birds chirping outside my house early in the morning. =)

The last day of 2008 was spent with my love and few others. would love to join part of 8ofus but plans had been made already. 7th jan to meet them at wanyi's 21st at marriott!

Was shopping in town before we headed to central. and we had waraku for our last dinner. of the year.

10pm or so and the place was packed like mad. there were crowds of Bs and Cs. SOOOO many of them! and we ended up on esplandae drive. and the last joke of the year happened when the Chicken talked to the Bear. it really tickled me! and yihui was laughing like mad too. the C was sitting on the barricade and the Bs were jumping over the barricade. C got angry and she looked earnestly at this B and said in mandarin of course, "你要过去吗??" and B obviously knows nuts about what she was saying. it was simply a great example of 对牛弹琴. i should have filmed that down!
the going back part was horrible as well. this C was pushing this ang moh and everyone was screaming at one another. it was so chaotic and i wondered what were the foreigners thinking of. Sporeans arent well-mannered to follow instructions? but the guy who pushed non-stop is a C! anyway, our group was lucky enough to get to the train station soon enough. and train wasnt too packed. and we had our firstsssss of the year taken down. yihui's insane. haha! oh yeah and our C____l plan failed la! YOUR luggage didnt arrive right?!?! go call the courier company and scold them! now i dont get my C______ bags. haha.
and we mahjong-ed till 5am or so.

1st day of 2009 was spent mj-ing, playing cards and uno-ing then dinner at e-hub. OH! and my mj level is on par with yihui and baby's!!! hor? =X definitely improved like WOW! haha...aisah just have to work ten times harder before she can be like us. =X
ME leh! my standard and i ALMOST won with these...WOW. and i really gamed another round with super nice tiles la!!! so proud of myself.lol

and we had justacia for the first dinner. of the year. and we packed fish and co express for baby's sis. i mean not-so-xpress back to baby's for show. we waited like 15 or so?

im going jogging with sis before meeting baby for dinner. and plans tomorrow and the next and next and next and.................=D

2008. Been a bad year. quite a bad one.

Was working full-time at Swissotel Stamford after internship all the way till school starts. School as in university. Working was great. apart from work, i was given chances to go on ducktours, night safari, spore flyer, buddha tooth relic, pumproom, dinners @ goodwood, wood restaurant, fullerton's town rest, flyer's seafood rest etc. Was busy rushing interims and final. Cleared leave and went to Taipei with group of friend. Bought lots of stuff and ate lots of good food. i miss that holiday so much. great company. :)
Graduation and soon school starts. Picked the most tedious and challenging private uni out of so many choices. but challenges been really exciting. but i will gladly do without it.
July was to Bintan with loved ones. Relaxing. =)
And many many crazy assignments, tests, exams etc. MANY.
and in between with stayover at ritz and meetups etc.
and 2 persons so important to me left this world to be in heaven. it was indeed a great blow to me. but im sure they are happy in heaven as they did lots of good deeds. cause and effect. thats what i believe in. good karma thus in heaven. =) they brought me up since i was a baby. my childhood revolved around them. before i was given a chance to repay them, they left. they will be in my heart. forever. i love them. my great grandaunt and grandma. i miss the both of you.

the huge blow, projects' and exams stress really changed me somehow. im not like how i used to be. or perhaps i have been trying my best to be strong. but at least i have a group of friend who are giving me the support i need. did little things to cheer me up and listened to my rants. they dont take advantage of me like how some did. will you all continue to listen and care? deep in their hearts, they know who they are. thank you. and my dearest for being by my side when i was so down, while on the verge of giving up. he gave me words of encouragement and tried to pacify me and made me happy. he doesnt speak to me in sarcastic tones or make fun of me. he genuinely cares. thanks baby. and because of his endless encouragement and support, and the company he gives, i realized that i rely on him so much now.

im glad to be spending more time with mum as well. to facials, massages, to eat and gossips. and more time with paternal family with bbqs, chalets and parties. the family bond will always be there although our 2 loved ones are no longer around. i know.

i was looking through the letters and cards i have kept since primary school till now. and i realized that many people so close to me had drifted so far away. be it me or them, i really hope that they are doing fine. and i hope that the friendships which remain will be cherished and it will be till forever. till we work, get married, have children and even when our hairs are turning white and having wrinkles on our faces.

i really hope that 2009 can be a good year. for all of my family members, baby and his family and friends i care about. please be healthy and happy. and im so looking forward to graduation. so that the never-ending projects and papers will come to an end. and may the economy takes a turn for the better.

im totally addicted to neuhaus chocolates aunt got for us and im finishing it fast. and its toooo freaking expensive for me to get addicted to it. 50 tinnnnyyy pieces for almost 70. nono. i shall go back to royce or just kinder brueno and snickers etc. and finish up those bars of chocolates sitting in the fridge. and not get fat. impossible.

xmas eve was spent shopping at giant tampines as early as 2pm before last minute shopping was done at nearby White sands. speaking of that, it really pissed me off. i will NEVER buy anything from MORE THAN WORDS located on the 3rd level of WHITE SANDS SHOPPING CENTRE because the staffs other than that funny guy have serious attitude problems. and that cashier charged us 3 times the price without informing us. and she didnt bother to explain properly. so much for SERVICE. i wonder with people of such horrid attitude, how can singapore service industry ever thrive?

then was back to baby's place to whip up a sumptuous dinner. (ok at least i thought it was OK)

then the next day (xmas), 4 of us set off for town. baby's sis's bf drove us all. road blocks etc were irritating us out. had lunch at shokudo heerens before we went shopping..and because of the crowds, shows were sold out and we watched the lamest show of 2008. ponyo. ok. i know thats totally retarded and YES it's totally...so people pls dont watch it. and then we were off to cuppage plaza and baby's sis treated us to this authentic japanese restaurant. the menu's in japanese. no english description at all. and they dont have spoons. food's yummy and price not exactly cheap.

Sat was to zhou's kitchen for their high-tea dimsum buffet with maternal family. the entire conversation revolved around the en bloc of airview and the bitch and damage to the house that bitch caused. uncle shouldnt have rented the place to C_____Ns. such rough and uncouth people. no wonder dad forbids me to bring friends there for stayovers before the en bloc during these jolly occasions.

and uncle drove us to see this SUPERRRRR HUGE house with at least 15 cars and ultra huge pretty looking eagle. he told us that house looks awesome in the night when lights are switched on. located in the prime area of town. all we did was 'WOW' all the way. 5 ferraris parked under this shelter and i saw the newest model of merc. i think the cheapest car in there was a toyota camry. (thats wad baby said) i was trying to spot what other cars are parked in the garage. and was amazed at how 15 cars go into the front porch of the house. and their maids were in uniforms. so baby and i concluded that the toyota camry we saw may be driven by chauffeurs or butlers when they go shopping for groceries or run errands. applaud the owner man. WOW.
i only managed to catch this super blur picture the 5 ferraris...

and then auntss, mum, baby and i went shopping at TAKA. aunt got a belt for uncle and school shoes for the kids, mum a pair of shoes before baby and i went off for Ajitei. yes. we love japanese food soooo much..sashimi. LOVES.

Headed down to china square to baby's sis's rented store. their last sunday there for the month and im so happy for them as they really earned a lot from selling...TOYS. i really dont know how to appreciate those toys and i wonder why people are willing to pay so much for them. and i saw vivian and james! been ages since i last saw them. i miss STS. was chatting with vivian before baby and i had to set off for home cause he had to book in. dinner at swensens. finally a change.

im so excited and sooo looking forward to tomorrow! cant wait for 2008 to be over. oh yes i FINALLY tidied up my room. ok not very tidy but at least its 50% better than before. :)

YES Exam's OVER about a week ago? And i fell sick the day after. I hope exams results wont come out. and will never will. but thats impossible and im dreading that day so much.

i missed a few gatherings with friends and ive missed out loads of fun. but time clashes and all so...
cant remember what i did other than finished twilight. not books i would like but i finished it within a day and i LOVED it. then...NVM.

anyway the last weekend was great. no project worries no exam stress etc. it was FUN.
Fri was at CGH with baby for his physio appt and went to shop for jenn's 1st mth present on behalf of the rest. i think babies' stuffs are simply SOOOOOO cute and i got high while searching...

Sunday was to china square to take a look at baby's sis's store before heading down to cousin evelyn's place for xmas party.
we ate and ate and ate, sang bdae songsss with log cakes, wii-ed, gave n received presents, took pics, and built the tallest and sturdiest xmas tree. my group won! haha. it was FUN.

xmas is coming then new year. plans yes many but all not fixed and it irritates me somehow. but well...

Last week was dinner with poly friends after the super scary presentation in which our group got 11/15. phewww.
dinner was at suki then to minds for games. im sure i really suck at making noises. haha. but at least all of us had real fun and some catching up. and LMY didnt send me any photos so when i feel like it i shall grab some from her blog if i can.

Saturday was out wit bf to town for lunch. yes TOWN again. im quite sick of that place. then we went to shop for mr toh's present. got him his giorgio armanai aqua di gio and a tshirt. except choon kai who lost his way 10000 times. i didnt know its so hard to locate taka. and the rest FINALLY reached to accompany jas and me for shopping. =X guys, we were giving you all good training. got to learn how to wait for your gfs in future. and i saw ms lim! she's having a good life by being off that day and its her luck to bump into me. then dinner was at this new cafe-Whisk. Food was not bad but slightly pricey. Bill came up to almost $200 for 8 of us. werent filling enough either. and their service SUCK. Had to ask them for cake for 4 times.

after which, some of them had to leave. dr ong to his party with streamers and balloons and jas to feed medication to muffin. anyway muffin's her bunny. nugget (her hamster) passed away some time ago so her devotion's all to muffin now.
then the rest of us were off to alleybar. everywhere else was packed. headed home after that.

received my results for ST yesterday and im rather disappointed with myself. shall not elaborate more. and i should be rushing my SM major now. cant help digressing when i have to read 20 journal articles to do one damn literature review. if u want to be kind, help me read some. the millionsssss of small words are killing my eyes. and i realized i have got one week to burn and swallow these information before the D days arrive. gosh. one week plus few days minus about one week of digression. i will be left with an approximate of 3 days to finish these...

the estimated height of these books in total is 15cm. and it doesnt help when the you can find hundreds of words in a page, especially for ST. lets hope what the lecturers said are true. that this degree will be all worth it. quoted from ST lecturer ms nisha, "i have taught so many degree programs and none of them are of standard. if i really have to pick one, then only mur-doch can fit the bill" and that "we will really shed tears of effort and joy when we graduate" as per mr samuel. ms long, dont hug me and cry ok?

I'm so proud to be a Singaporean, so glad that we have such a good go vern ment. The economy has been so bad these days and instead of doing nothing, they pumped in huge amount to save SMEs, big firms, to help individuals by funding upgrading courses. They want majority of the people to keep their rice bowl. They put in money to assist the needy ones. Govern men tal and related bodies are hiring during this lull period and even T H o l d i n g s executives are willing to take pay cuts up to 25% just to hire 15% of workers. Yes all during this lull periods. Major job/career fairs are being held. Community centres are assisting people to look for jobs and advising the right courses to go to.

They continued building the MRT lines, been giving assurance to the citizens, to finish and open the IR on time. We have all these thanks to our wise g o v e r nment. They are willing to insure our bank accounts, not letting our major firms to go bust. Look at other countries, are theirs putting in enough to help? We have been hearing big companies going down.
Our country is so small. It's easy to get affected and fall but nobody is allowing that to happen.

Having said all these, who will remember when this lull period is over? when the economy picks up again? We complain. complain that everything is going up. E R P, transportation, necessities. Of having fines after fines. But have one ever thought of WHY should regulations be implemented and costs to go up? To help in our economy. So that our country has a strong financial foundation, that we wont fall during crisis. If we have no E r P, no cameras to catch speeding cars etc, then we forsee massive traffic jams. So how do ambulance, fire engines or police cars get to places fast? no such measures in place then expect horrid jams then.

IR. If our g o vern ment only cares about profits and not social sustainability, then there wont be counselling bodies or entrance fees in place to control. And i wonder how many people who made noise on the building of IR actually went for the interviews.

Perhaps one day the citizens can realize how much our go vern ment had done, been doing and will do for us. To protect, shelter us and give us a good place to be in. People thinking of migrating all the time, think again. Yes less stressful when you are overseas but are you sure you can be so sheltered and feel such assurance when you are there?

Nobody is perfect and no countries can be too. But im sure ours have put in their 100% to help. And their assistance rendered will have limitations too. Wise up people.

After 15 minutes of relaxation on the massage chair, my back aches are gone. for now.

bumped into casey at bedok mrt and had a short chat with her. it was nice meeting old friends. i miss the entire bunch of them!!

Having submitted ST final report last friday, i believe majority of us had a good weekend. it was so enjoyable although nothing much was done. shows how much all of us needed a BREAK.

Had dinner with my family some time last week as it was my parents' 21st wedding anniversary. first time "celebrating" it with them as i never knew when their anniversary is. so sis and i planned a dinner for them and surprised them with a photo collage and flowers. the smiles on their faces delighted us. and since sis had to rush to chalet, we only had a simple dinner at TM. bought a LCD panasonic 32 inch which was delivered on sat. mum dislike the bigger ones.

Saturday baby's sister's bf came to fetch me with them in his car to millenia walk's harvey norman, wanting to catch the good offers. but we were too late. everything was gone. then baby and i met up with the rest to settlers' at clarke quay. i was utterly disappointed with their inflexibility. they have NO idea what service satisfaction is. but we still had a wonderful time and i enjoyed panda game and the trading game. =)
then to central for dinner. i thought manhattan fish market's seafood platter was much nicer than fish n co. well, my preference. manhattan over fish n co anytime. then to clarke quay for a walk before heading home. the day passed so fast...=(

and sunday met baby for lunch before going aunt's place. then we had dinner at pu tien. new at TM basement. i remembered my lecturer giving example of valet parking at pu tien.
food was good. and im sure they are earning big bucks from the crowd. recession? dont seem like it.

and i only managed to capture 2 dishes as my cousins snatched everything else before i can take the pictures.

and BBQ on sat. the only bad part was that baby wasnt well. fever and cold. but yeah bbq still. with yummy food.

and sun slacked and met up with the gang for dinner at simei and chatted till late again.

was home after 3 days 2 nights away. i love/miss my bed.

mon was brunch at crystal jade with baby n his mum and groceries etc. and he went back to camp again. =( home in the evening to come up with lit review...

and i was fuming with anger on my way home yesterday. my mood was so bad that i even showed my black face to innocent passers-by and even e lady who accidentally stepped on my slippers. it was so not me. but i just cant stand it. i felt utterly stupid. treating people with sincerity and u will get it back from them too. thats utter BULLSHIT. it doesnt work that way in singapore, not in this realistic world. its more like people will make use of u rather den treat u nicely.
and i was so stupid that i fared rather badly for my individual essay. yes i know i passed but its not just whether if i pass not now. i didnt do well cause i tried to answer to the essay topic more den wad e lecturer expects. she just needs one to answer to 5% and the rest...anything else but answering to question will do.
and having recked my brains to interpret my group project doesnt help either. crap. i wonder how many cells died with the angst and unjust. i really wonder why. efforts? HA. its coming to naught. to the wrong areas. yeah pure stupidity. for being nice. for putting in extra for the wrong areas all the time.
i saw how selfish people are. how superficial this world is. loads of crap.

but at least i still have my dearest family. and my best friend whom i hope thinks im hers as well. and the 8ofus who makes me all relaxed and happy. and the clique of sec sch mates i go out with. and of course dearest boyfriend. i cannot live without them. thanks for listening. for not being selfish. for being there. for not being scheming. <3

Been slacking after submission of ST project but more to come real soon.

zoo last monday with uni mates for school project. im glad no peacocks all around cause i really dont love them at all. it was a rainy day and i felt like putting in some effort in asking questions and recording them down.

met up with huipeng after 10000 years and it was nice to be talking and lunching together before dropping by to say hello to theresa and all. i was there for an hour or so and the best thing heard was, " you didnt change much but grew fatter" i never get such comments before. bewildered.

and sat off to shop and i had killer heels on and it was no wise choice shopping with killer heels. but i had great company. and to haji lane for some retro look around. im noob. =X

i so so so LOVE the dress the gang got for me! i have been looking at these satin dresses which are all so beautiful and had been pondering as to which one to get and they solved the problem for me. it's satin material, its not too long nor too short, its black with red and pink! NICE!!! =D and the hot pink cardigan and chocolate cake from emi's which we had at aisah's hari-raya celebration last saturday.

and i got so tempted by this satin dress and top i saw on a friend's blog! omg. i shouldnt be spending money for no particular reason. its not as if im earning loads of money at this point of life but its tempting me so much! i shouldnt be blog-hopping when i was supposed to be concentrating and working real hard on my almost completed 1.5k super tedious essay which i shouldnt elaborate too much. it's killing me and the rest of my classmates too. argh!

anyway, yes i shouldnt be digressing! if not i wont come across the big sweet pink ribbon dress and that elegant brown top.

oh yes, thank you meiyi and peijin for their gifts too! =) yes ms long, you shall get yours when i see you next time. when you are back from your well-deserved holiday. its impossible for any of us not to remember your big day when its so well publicized. haha.

This year's birthday was a bit different from the rest. It was hari raya, childrens' day and china's national day.
My sweet sis surprised me with a recorded birthday song from her handphone at 12midnight sharp.

my dearest grandma's birthday in chinese calender was yesterday too so all of us went to the temple to pray. words cant describe the feelings then.
And to my aunt's place.

and was forced to cut cake with the 3 youngest.

before i set off to city hall to meet my gf. the rest couldnt make it but thanks for the smses from almost all of u. felt all of your love. haha

Test today was alright i guess. not as bad as expected i hope.

nothing is going right

it was certainly not a good holiday at all once results were released. not exactly all because one of the modules the lecturer went MIA and no results given yet. and MDP-entire class FAILED. lucky to be given a chance for supplementary paper due to marginal failure BUT im so going to boycott it. first time in my entire life. MDP supp paper students boycotting exams. how cool can that be. dean had to fly down to settle issue and he's so nice. i really appreciate it. just our luck though. please let me pass the next exam.

and school officially started yesterday. and i had to bring i-wonder-how-many-kilograms of books home. hands were jelly-like and i was not walking straight.

just the first day and i feel super stressed up. crappy remodule, assignments, projects, tests, exams and hearing the failure rate for Sustainable Tourism reall made me feel like breaking down while i was on my way home. i really understand what does digging my own grave means. well for recognition purposes, i should force myself to continue till i get that degree. if that day happens, im so sure i will cry with joy and think back what hell i have been through. certainly, getting a degree is NO joke. and especially this degree im pursuing. i get what slogging for a degree really means.

woke up few times due to extreme pains in my back last night. and my right foot and right thumb. its killing me.

baby's going to POP on tues. that was fast. and i cant wait to see him tomorrow. i need his shoulder to cry on i think.

I'm left with one week of holidays. so dreading the start of september before life goes back to HELL again.

Went popular with sister to get some stationary for school and i bought two very good bargain books!
"The Pact" by Jodi Picoult and "Shopaholic and Sister" by Sophie Kinsella. NICE. =)
and it was pastamania.

Tuesday went to my aunt's place before heading to TM to meet wy. been...weeks since i last saw her? and we had dinner at cafe cartel. it was a last minute but nice meetup.

and Wednesday was out with Kelwin. went City Hall area and had sakae sushi at marina square. bumped into Shawn there. its been months since i saw him and well, guys are all enlisting into army. and i ps-ed kelwin and met ian for tea at raffles city. quality time spent.

and FINALLY thursday arrived! baby called me in the morning when he reached his bunk after his 6days5nights of torture in the jungle. i was so glad to hear him. and met him in the evening when he booked out.

Friday was meetup with them! we went to town to walk and i just realized what nice ice-cream orange julius have when dr ong decided to give us a treat after he got his pay of S$1k. and i cant help teasing him about his pay the entire day.
dinner was at astons specialities at cathay. cheap and good food but be prepared to queue and wait for at least 1-2 hours. it was a horrid wait due to the space constraint. got to admit that we were terrible as ALL of us except kind jas "went to the toilets but all of them were spoilt and long queue" and we only went back to queue after half hour, leaving aisah and benjamin there. =X
and we went to pool. ok i dont play pool but the rest did and we cabbed home.
and having considered not wanting to let my camera collect dust at home, i have decided to bring it out and USE it. and make it a point to be less lazy and uploaded few pictures. well done jiesi!
but my poor NDS has been coated with layers of dust i guess.

and TM for dinner and i got baby his super early birthday present. =)

exams are finally over!!! i have been waiting for this break for sooo long. and its finally here. =D 2 weeks but better than nothing.
MDP paper was a killer. first exam which demoralized me so much. none of the questions spotted came out.
and i felt worse after knowing that people are already quitting school changing courses. lucky there was someone online whom i can talk to and i felt much better.
CB was not any better. but i think i can pass.
HROD was 3 hours long and i bullshit non-stop.
and it's over!
i need to thank my dearest daddy and mummy for giving me the support and like cooking washing and doing everything for me.
and my all time favourite hot and spicy calbee potato chips for keeping me company.

BUT. baby's having his field camp. till thurs or maybe even friday. life become miserable cause of this. i wonder how's he surviving in the jungle with such horrid weather and all. =( he's not around and there's almost no one for me to talk to whenever i want. how sad.

do u cherish friends who are there all along? been by your side be it morally or physically or people who were good friends but disappeared cause of "BUSY-ness" and appeared after years wanting to be close to you again? actually such people irks me off. busy for days, weeks or months i believe. not disappearing for years before acting as if everything was like before. im not so gracious i know. but thats the way i am. such people irks me off. disgusting. call me selfish jealous or petty but seriously...
BUT MAYBE one day if i sense any sincerity or if i become much more gracious like some others did, perhaps things will change. i dont know if that day will come but let's let all be fake with one another till then.

i so need a good massage and plannings for outings. kel just made me excited by mentioning a HK trip. but thats for years later when boys complete NS to become man.

i havent been able to get good night rests. i wonder why...been waking up in the middle of the night and it surprises me to see baby's messages. i bet he cant sleep well in tekong too. :( trainings been tough for them i heard and even yihui had to see the MO. they are like torturing them can?
oh and two of my friends whom i know from different places happen to be in viper and the same bunk too. and both of them called out to me when i was at pasir ris interchange last sunday. what a coincidence! its been long since i last saw them. interesting.
i dreamt of this particular person twice recently. sweet dreams i should say. but i really wish this person can get out of my dreams because there's no reason for this person to be in it. if only i control dreams.

reckon that im not going to study much this week despite planning to do so. i should just kick myself and force myself to put in more effort.

and last but not least, i was told to feature someone on the sly here so its a secret that she does not know i mentioned her name here. classmate long meiyi. :)

although the assignments and presentations are all done, exams are coming soon. really soon. and its going to take me so much effort to study. i cant wait for 16th august for 2 weeks of freedom before torture begins again.

it was sun sea sand and love last weekend.

food at bintan is expensive and it sucks. so bring more food there if u intend to go.
scenery is great. nice beach and sea. and had my spa and massage and of course, my relaxation. =)

been home the entire day. wanted to go jogging but it rained. although the sun's out now. my motivation for the jog is gone. =X
read a sidney sheldon's book. wrote a letter to today's forum to voice grievances. uploaded and tagged some photos in facebook. blogs-hopping. updating my blog. and time for my nap soon.
it's back to reality-projects submissions, presentations, exams tomorrow so i shall enjoy today.
people change. different people with different perceptions and all. just got to accept it and live life my own way.

its been sometime since i last blogged. been really busy with school work and all. out of so many institutions, i actually enrolled myself into one of the strictest universities around. even lecturers who have been teaching for many years say that murdoch's standards are considered very high. and that is why i have to put in extra effort in order to get that certificate.

last sunday was one of my closer friend's wedding.

i miss those days. :(
have known him since sec one and he's becoming daddy soon.i can really see that he has really mature a lot. or should i say there is this huge contrast due to this and that? well, i really hope that their marriage will be blissful and that he will be happy.
it still amazed me whenever i think of how "well-mannered" and childish some people can be.

to me, i find that a relationship can never be sustained if there is an absence of trust. one should have faith in their other half. i definitely trust my baby.

Things had been changing over the years. Be it relationships among friends, families and love. to think back, there were people who were really close and they had to drift away. some by a little and some, the gap became really wide. it really takes two hands to clap. i must admit that perhaps at times, i really dont put in enough effort to keep relations going on strong. but sometimes, it may be the external factors causing changes.
been looking through cards i received since young till now, comments and all. the changes are really significant. majority of those have already become memories. that's all. but im still glad that these people came into my life, and left some memories for me. thank you.

and many many many more...
left me really great memories and there are many whom i still want to be in contact with..

its only through time we know who really cares about you and who really treasure the relations. time really can tell. yes it does upset me a great deal but sometimes we are in no control of fate and other people.
just got to accept it and move on with life.

a good friend of mine named person A just told me things like she rather have groups of good friends, no best friends. and i can see that A is very happy with her life by just having many good friends. i think different people have different perceptions, needs and wants. A! i want to be like you can? so carefree and happy all the time.

the person who will never let me walk alone, who will always listen to me, who always shower me with love care and concern, who will always be there for me, my bestest listener and advisor. had left me for the army. :( indeed, i really feel lonely. will these 2 years pass by faster PLEASE???

on a lighter note, a few people really surprised me. these people gave me a bear and a card just to cheer me up. they knew that i was very down and all they did to cheer me up was the thought. i would have never imagined the sweet things they did. they kept me company last saturday. they looked for me, found me somewhere alone, told me all of them were waiting for me, need my company. it really made me feel very touched by just words and actions of concerns. one of them even went all the way down from town, skipped his little cuzzie's birthday party in tampines, and met us at jurong for dinner. these are people i see perhaps once every fortnight or even only once every month? or sometimes lesser? these are people i dont have heart-to-heart talks with. and right from the bottom of my heart, despite that they may not even know this blog's existence, THANK YOU. :)

Last week was non-teaching break but activities filled my entire week.
Monday the 26th was appointment with mum then met fung and angeline. no photos yet and the reason's usual. =X

then tues met my group mate for project and peer teaching. ^%&&^%*&@#!&%^*( school's soooo stressful! projects mid term tests quizzesssss examss...all's cramped up together. and its tough. TOUGH.
then met up with the rest for eugene's early birthday celebration as tt nigga's flew off e day before his bdae to HK.
so it was swensens at tamp and we went NTUC for fun.

wed was graduation...
after 3 years..time flew like nobody's business...so many memories..tb07 with tiff shy boy jj etc...BA camp peeps and outingsss we had...then tr02 was LOVE..australia cruise camps etcccc

sat was finally with baby...watched show at his place..then to ehub and had sakae for dinner. sashimi!!! nice! sakae's our usual man. walked around e-hub and im sure we'll b spending time there.......
ride home was fantastic. sorry if i laughed too loud ten million times but it was just funny.

and...school's tomorrow again. this sucks. seriously...back to business..

i have this sudden urge to blog about a bad experience i had few hours ago which caused me to blow my top.

why are systems important? because they ensure smooth operations and tell me about being stubborn and not accepting feedbacks.

it happened like this.....

my aunt family decided to come to bedok for a vegetarian meal and so the only monopoly vegetarian place we had nearer to my place was at 412. we reached the place at 7:30pm and it was so crowded! we took another 5 to 10minutes before we managed to secure a place and my aunt went to order the food. so the person told us that we had to wait for an hour and since we already got a place and we had not too much of a choice, we decided to stay there.
having waited for almost an hour, our food was not here yet so everyone who ordered vegetarian meals were getting pissed. my little cousin went to check on our orders and we were told to wait for another 20minutes. so i told the person politely that they should consider serving the different tables with some dishes first instead of all at once and he told me that they dont do that because they might get confused. by serving a table at one go will not cause confusion.
the coffeeshop had around 40 to 50 tables and out of these number of tables, 20 of them were botak jones' customers and they served fast! then another 10 or so were other food stalls' customers so it was left with about 20 tables or lesser.
guess what! the BRAINLESS stall's SOP was totally DUMB. they cooked dish by dish and served one table at one go. it was totally stupid. and they only had 1 or 2 cooks in there. so can you imagine how many service crews were idling around and sitting down on chairs? they did not even bother laying out the cutleries or so. BRAINS PLS.
and then, i saw people who came later than us getting their food first. i was so angry! even my aunt became upset and we went to the stall owners to ask about it. they said maybe there was some miscommunication. wow! so much for not wanting to cause confusion!
so we reduced our dishes from 7 to 3. and guess what. they even mentioned that they ran out of a certain dish we wanted to order. after 1 hour 10mins, they told us that they ran out! so if we do not want to cancel any dishes, what will they be serving us?!
i told the person that perhaps they should reconsider their operating procedures and she told me off! saying that i dont know how busy they were and stuff like that! i dont see famous brand names stalls getting such complaints! so are u trying to tell me that places like jum*0 seafood had no queues of customers? or just talk about botak jones! they had soooo many customers yet they managed to serve it efficiently! customers do not have to wait for 1hour 20mins before getting their food right?
and that slut actually told me off. well done! i shall see how long can u all survive if your so fantastic stall is going to stay this way forever. and one major problem is that their variety is too wide. they cant possibly sell so many dishes since they are not capable.
BRAINLESS.
so people, if time is precious and you dont want to feel totally dumb, please do not visit this particular vegetarian stall located at bedok blk 412. they have the worst service i ever received so far!

22nd Apr
Concierge desk was closed (Yani helped us this time round). We went for dinner at Town Restaurant Fullerton after STB product training at Buddha Tooth Relic Temple Musuem, and that was after work. That place is magnificent! please visit it. its located in Chinatown, opposite Maxwell just in case nobody heard of it before.
The food there is good.

the best concierge team with the best hotel just behind them. :)

Was off! went to tuition then to Chevron House to meet Jess and Theresa for medi and pedi at Nail Palace. I had beautiful nails then.
Then we cabbed down to Singapore Flyer for Seafood Paradise invitation.
we were early so we did a little bit of cam-whoring.

Food was yummy especially its free..and audrey was nice enough to send me home.

24th Apr
Met Charlotte and all for FHA. That's Food and Hotel Asia 2008 for short. Major event at expo. STS was the hosting hotel.
The place is huge man. and an eye-opener. Tickets in cost SGD80 la! Lucky mine was free.
Met Huipeng there!

then the monday after was chalet. BBQ and all...(photos not uploaded)

and....
i am officially jobless!

tendered and my last working day was 2nd May. I got nice farewell gifts. awww...will miss the bitchy guests. nice ones. cute babies with blue eyes etc..and bitching with tian xin...phone calls meant for chit chat..being excited over invitations etc...

and of course..meals at tuckshop with you. calling that extension..the tea u made..the fantastic coffee in ur office. we will keep in touch wouldnt we?

i will definitely miss that place. and i never regretted at all. the only frustrating thing was one or two of the colleagues i had. but they are nothing compared to the friendship i made there. :)

8th April (Tues)-Day 1
Terminal 1. Dearest Jas and Faiz came to send us off.

then a horrendous 4 hours plus flight to Taoyuan airport.
.

I hate taking planes. always out of breathe. cant move around much. and that pressure. it sucks.
and we reached rather late. so it was more like a day gone.

9th Apr (Wed)-Day 2
Travelled out to Danshui.
Their metro there is so much more efficient than ours. seriously.and people there actually queues up to take the train.

ten thumbs up please!

and they have so many machines to catch toys

we visited this musuem (all the unbelievable stuffs) at danshui. and bought so much food.

they were put behind bars for stealing each others' hearts

and those from the 8 of us! Look at that! Who says chicken doesnt have 4 legs?!? count again!

thats y i managed to come up with that smug look.

i cheated in exam.
and the wind was so strong that it was impossible to pose for a picture.

we had din tai fung that day after some shopping at zhongxiao dun hua?
and we went for partyworld that night. everyone was so exhausted already. sang till 4am before we left. and we had in insane person with us carrying an air gun thinking that he wants to shoot people and rob them with it.

10th Apr (thurs)-Day 3
we went for maokong gondola. and i almost died. so high can! and it was sooo cold! the temperature went down to 18degrees and i only had a thin jacket with me. and there was such cold wind blowing.

we went wufenpu wholesale market for shopping and then to raohe night market. ate and ate..and shopped!

11th Apr (fri)-Day 4

had brunch at this cute egg restaurant then some ice. it was coldddd...but its nice!

den we went to shilin night market. had oyster omelette coffin bread etc. and bubble tea like i had the past 3 days! its yummy la!

12th Apr (sat)-Day 5

Off to Yang Ming Shan. and i almost froze to death there. but the experience up there was great.

it was freezing can!

how nice. if i dont get an additional head there!

and we went miramar for ferris wheel. it was boring so pictures shall not be added. but it was great company still. loves. :)

13th Apr (sun)-Day 6

Longshan Temple in the morning. Over 200 years of age. the waterfall is nice.

then back to wufenpu for shopping. so much to buy!and i love shopping!

and to Taipei 101 in the evening. i refused to go up. not a lover of heights. and not very magnificent still.

had sushi for brunch. i had scallops! its nice. and then off to aiport. How fast can!

21 march. sis birthday at fish n co.

long week...and im on afternoon shift today, tomorrow and sunday. weekends are gone just like that. i hate such shifts on such days. totally.

been on a project. so it calls. and i totally dread this project which doesnt make sense. not to me anyway. not as if i love malaysia. or any part of it at all. but well, no matter how much i hate it, i will do it well.

morale at work has been decreasing. due to some people at work who totally irks me. and lady luck has been with him and her. well, who to blame then? no one.

so i was so determined to jog on wednesday after work. and i did. it was great i should say. although it was 40% jog and 60% walk. i managed to relax. and burnt 0.1% fats off. jogged all the way to bedok reservoir.

and i saw this.....

impossible. bedok reservoir?

and i was really surprised to spot them. thinking that they were cats initially. but cats with extremely long tails...

and im not exactly very brave when i see animals..so that was the closest i got to them. brave huh?

but the next day, was at woods. and my jog was furtile. wood restaurant at vivocity has a great ambience. and the food is good. pairing with wines. and it was good. i must say im a good drinker. gosh. i shouldnt be drinking so much. but well, wines are supposed to be good for health arent they?

that's the good thing about being a concierge. you get invitations to everywhere. and you dont have to pay a single cent. =D

OFF day was yesterday. had seoul garden with baby. and i bet i put on weight again. its sinful. totally. and we went searching for TWD with kelwin and gf. and joke of the day was...money changers cant differentiate taiwan and thai bhat. we almost laughed our heads off.

work again...oh and i lost my trust in you. luckily i was not too naive and i saved myself before falling into it.

i shall type down a little bit. after ages.

attachment was over. ok more than a month ago. and i am no longer a student anymore. attachment had been great. simply because i have great colleagues and not to miss out all the outings and invitation to dinners etc.

there was the king and i, chitty chitty bang bang, bonta italian dinner etc....

there was the sentosa trip that seemed like a million years ago...

and there was the ARDE DND with F1 theme. some hotel association dinner which i was given a chance to take part. met so many people from the different hotels..

and there was dinner with robert n girls at shangri-la the line followed by my dearest gf's bdae celebration at cafe swiss...

and we had front office year end party. theme was back to school and dunman sec uniform was put to gd use. i miss sec sch can?!?! and the whole world tells me that i looked so much like a student.

and there was concierge dinner at dempsey oosh..

back to school with gf. how i wish time can turn back...

Have i ever mention how WONDERFUL my neighbours are? If i were to suggest something for the community, i would definitely opt for a managing neighbours association.

My neighbour living directly above me send chairs and balls across their living rooms at 11pm. And their beloved daughther learning how to play piano can play beautifully at 10pm at night which send my family using ear plugs to muffle the noise. Other than providing us so much MUSIC, they refuse to change their pipes as they just moved in less than a year ago and our area had to undergo renovation. This caused my pipe in the kitchen to have patches of ugly cement to prevent water from dripping into my house. We had to get the renovation team to our house thrice to put more cement.

The neighbour staying directly below me loves BBQ-ing IN the house. And my dad got so worried twice as he thought their house caught fire and almost send the fire fighters in. Smoke rises and our clothes had to stink like fried chicken and burnt charcoal.

And the uncle staying opposite the BBQ-ers loves sending smoke signals. He sits on the staircase every night and treat us to the NICE cigarettes smell which cause headaches and lungs darkening.

Two floors directly above me create rain almost everyday. Big drops of water will come dampening our laundry and we had to wash them again. So mummy will go, "XIA YU LE! KUAI LAI BANG MANG SHOU YI FU!!!" and its will always be their doing when they sky is bright and weather is sunny.

And have i ever mention my neighbour's dog named DENNIS?!?! It's not the dog which caused all the noise. It is the CRAZY owner. I swear she is mentally insane. She goes, "DEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNIIIISSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!! COME BACK!!!" almost everyday, be it 8am in the morning or 11pm at night. Her STUPID SHITZU NAMED DENNIS had to run about the corridor and scare the hell out of me. I so wish he can disappear one day! And she whips and tortures her children, locking them out of the house and screaming at the top of her voice to ensure that the entire block hears her.

Lodging complaints are useless. HDB dont care and town council ignore. Police wont bother as well. So, nice neighbours like us have to suffer. Tell me what to do! ARGHHHH!!!!!!

im happy with work 98% of the time. and im glad that i had things to do and im learning so much.
however.
i still miss school life. whenever i see people holding laptops just like the way we did, i miss rushing projects days with friends etc.
and when i see people in school uniform going to school with heavy books, i miss secondary school days. so much. so much.
and when i see people lugging instruments, i miss band. i miss dunmanband. i miss flute. i miss my friends.
and when i walked past this particular shop at sim lim tower, and i saw stands outside, i even miss opening up stands. i wonder if i still remember how to do it.
i just dont want to grow up. :(

i missed Pride In Service (PIS), that's orientation when i just joined the company 2 weeks ago and i had mine this time round. it was yesterday and today, and half a day tomorrow. and it was so cool!

i only managed to take half the toilet of the guest room. its so big can! and its made of glass. but one night in this room costs you 3.6k. that grand? yes. there was a fish tank with fishes and corals in there too.
and saw laundry operations. for such a HUGE organization, even the processes are so interesting. its so factory like! totally interesting.
i had lunch with the new F&B manager (he's 1.96m dutch man and look super handsome can?) and new director of catering sales.
met few other colleagues from various departments and of course, i had the company of gL with me. knew her since 2 weeks back and it felt good.

then we went to level 73. yes, there is a level 73 (helipad-helicopters landing area)

and i almost died there. havent felt so embarrased for a long time. my legs were shaking when i look about. its so high can! and the whole space is open! i clung onto gL like mad and then i gave up and ended up squatting down looking at the floor. ok, its not funny. my hands were super cold and i was almost trembling. everyone went "so nice!", "so beautiful!", "that's bukit timah hill!", "that's msia!" and i kept staring at the floor. but i managed to stand up after some time and took few photos without looking out. a plane flew past and i believe if i jumped and if someone reaches down, i could have reached it. the person told me that if a wind is blowing, i may be blown off because it is that strong. what's more unbelievable is that it costs 40k to book that level 73 for 2 hours. thats crazy. and the views were simply breathtaking. i managed to admire from a level down, 72, as that's a bar and there are glasses etc to protect me.

im so proud to be a singaporean. but its rather sad to see few people wearing red on this day. other than those going to the parade perhaps. and look at number of national flags hanging outside. its decreasing like mad. and those blocks which had flags hung up were done up by the community centres. talk about patriotic. :(

yesterday was bad day. felt so incompetent. and totally down. thanks honey. thank you for being there. i needed that shoulder so much. and i had it there. and the few sweeties who were there to listen.

Tortures.

Friday was a bad day initially. School was horrid thanks to a certain T. I used to think he was alright as i did not have much contact with him but now i realize T is a totally irresponsible and irritating bastard whose main objective in life is to make life difficult for others.
but sometimes when i think more into it, SOMETIMES T does certain things for our own good. ok thank you T for that and no thanks for being a meanie.
Came home to do projects after 5 straight hours in school and it turned out to be so not productive. Projects not done. nothing accomplished. i should have find someone to go shopping with me. :(

then off to Tamp to meet sah, yh, jas, ed, lq and of cause dearest for dinner. went to the japanese restaurant near the pool. been there twice before this time and all three times. bad experience. but somehow i still went. this tommy guy addresses customers this way.

but they covered my mouth before i could ask more.

wanted to shop after dinner but realized all the shops were either closed. or closing. so dar sent me home. was so tired that i fell asleep immediately. and sorry fung and whoever else for not joining for clubbing. had to be up early for projects although i really wanted to go very very much. but glad you guys had a fun time. so envious......

Huipeng was so sweet to give me 2 tickets to the combined rehearsals for NDP 07. Met him and went to Dhoby to get tickets from her. then we walked from PS to marina square. i bought a pair of footwear. but nothing else. :(
then off we proceeded to the marina bay area. gates opened at 330pm and we reached there an hour later only to reazlize that we were still early. forced to take the front seats and the sun was damn damn damn scorching. everyone was almost baked. luckily, dar brought umbrella.

i cant stand those sluts who go around hooking old men! today was the 2nd time i saw it. some 40plus yr old i think chinarian woman who is obese was wearing this damn short flare skirt and spaghetti top hooking old men. i was right behind this old man when she went up to him asking if he was shopping alone. den asked if he got work etc not. den asked him if want to treat her for drink. she kept following him around then she spotted another target who actually was bastard enough to accept her. GOSH! i swear i said "jian" loud enough at least twice to let her hear me. breaking up others' families. poor families. i seriously pity them.

the previous time was pretty bad as well. she went up to a group of old men in coffeeshop and asked them to buy lottery tickets. then asked about their families and income etc. got them to treat her drinks before she went off. perhaps thinking that they are not rich enough. i dont see why they should be so slutty! cant stand them seriously!!! they are damn disgusting. sluts.

the trip to gold coast was great.

the beach was beautiful. and i still miss the beach so much. i so love sunsets. and the best-looking rainbow i have ever seen in 18 years of my life.

someone please let me feel more excited about the australia trip. is there something wrong with the itinerary? or is it with the purpose of the trip? or is it the company?
projects are rolling in and we really regretted saying how slack this semester is. yes, it was slack for week 1 and week 2. then hell starts during week 3.
it is scary to find out how evil human can be. how selfish they can be. im a human and i do possess those selfishness too do i?
and disappointment sets in when certain things became unravelled. it takes time to grow accustom to them. perhaps that is life. well, it is life. people come and go. but there are few people who will remain in your life forever. and i am truely blessful that i do have a few in my life.

life got to go on.

2 months of holidays gone just like that.
the last few days of "work" turned out to be 80% play and 20% work.
although the company sucks, but i had some great company and i managed to learn certain things out of it.
but a sudden thought just came to my mind. people always mention about cherish, treasure etc but why do they lose contact not long after separation. be it school friends, colleagues etc. somehow people dont make the effort to keep in touch. i have to admit that sometimes, i dont as well. keep in touch? how many people actually really keep in touch with people who were part of their life? its pretty upsetting. i guess its all about sincerity and efforts.
i finally played hopscotch at kevin's place with the rest of the people last saturday. it was pretty saddening that i actually forgot how to play it. but we had fun. :)

open house's over! pretty successful i would say.

Watched Rob-B-Hood yesterday. It's two hours long. And imagine tearing due to intensive laughing for two hours. The show is hilarious! Like totally. And the baby in the show is ultra cute! Can you be kind and lend jiesi that little boy to play with me for just 5 minutes? Ok, maybe 15minutes. It's been a long time since i last enjoyed a movie so much.

Did i mention my shopping date? It was just as enjoyable but it sucks not seeing anything which caught my eye. If not, the size!!! Nvm, date, we got ourselves a yucky ice-cream right? Hopped from stalls to stalls just to get a yucky ice-cream. yucksss! But i had such nice chats with you date! Promise there will be more to come yeah? AND we will definitely buy something!!!

School's reopening. Another week or so to go am i right? This sucks. All the lectures, tutorials and projects will start pouring in. Oh man, i seriously dread it so much. The politics here and there. Damn it!
Sometimes, life just get so lonely and sucky till no one will understand.

Why must there be this front people put on? Hypocrites. Blogs aren't for people to type and say whatever they want, are they? Sometimes, i still prefer pening down my thoughts in my diary. That's where the freedom of speech comes. I can scold, criticize and write whatever i want without having the fear of offending people or have others criticizing unnecessarily.

I was so bored two days ago that i started writing a book. Or rather one with ugly handwriting and whatever that came to my mind. My "lifestory".
Its only been 17 years yet there were so much to remember. And sad to say i've forgotten so much already. Perhaps you guys should write down what's good to be remembered too. Brought back so much smiles, and memories. I wish i can go back to the good old days. If only.

Went shopping with my sis on saturday. She wanted to get me something but it simply sucks when i cannot find anything to my liking. Got an earpiece and some cutiepie stuff from her.
Met my darlings in the evening. Fantastic me was late and the wonderful ones had to queue up so long at new york new york and waited so long for us. ok me. =X

it can never turn out so well without our creative xian.

Had a fantastic experience there. The food portion was enormous and they have the weirdest sauces there. Yucks! I don't really like it other than the candy floss! I think i rock at making the floss myself. =X Not to forget mentioning someone who thought that chickens have four legs. I shouldn't name you so as to not tarnish your good reputation. =P
Made our way to esplanade. The roof top garden and had a cake cutting session there.

Was asked to open the present they got me. What a sweet musical box and the pretty scrapbook/notebook they got. I so know it was designed by designer lee. Wonderful book with lots of memories and sweet messages which can make me jump!!! Had walks along the river and we ended up filming videos. I almost died laughing. A wonderful train ride back. =)

So here i am, lagging by a week or even more. But i still want to post about the wonderful memories i had.

IMF was great. Simply wonderful.

Meeting the girls in the morning. Changed into our cleaner-yet-we-so-miss-it uniform in the toilets. Hung our not-so-beautiful-but-very-willing-to-be-ask-for-it-again pass and crossed that out-of-bound linkbridge to those without passes. Pass by those interesting metal detectors which screw up quite often when it starts beeping for no apparent reason.

I dreaded 4B mezzanine. How interesting can our duties get when we practically have to face SINGAPOREANS for hours! But. But. But. It left me so much memories. So many interesting experiences and people i have met.

First day went by quite hecticly for us already. I was coiling up lots and lots and lots of wires for JQ. And mdm pink. That wonderful lady in an all pink blazer which fuzz about every little detail. Paintings not centralized and that little mark here and there. But things got more relaxed for us as the days went by...

We talked to Suntec Management Group (SMG) people, Transport people, Hospitality Management Group(HMG) people, Medical, OPS HUB people etc. Spice up our working experience. And those TP people(that's what we call them)-they should smile more and please don't be so dao can? =X Not to forget my wonderful Venue Assistants (VAs). Initially we had Diana and Chenise with us but Gareth had to pull that away and that left Guany, me and the Lenny(Leonard and Kenny), Haiping. And Junry plus Xunyong in the front. We lunch-ed together, gossiped, took lots of pictures and had so much fun.
And our lovable Floor Managers (FMs). Gareth and Yenling!!! Mr Sissy and Ms Cheerful. You can never guess her age. That's how the saying goes, "Never judge a book by its cover." I still remembered how i complained of getting such a not-friendly guy as our FM and the not wonderful lady before the thing starts. He gay-ed, acted sissy and she laughed along and visited Mdm. Pink with us so often.

We were posted to Pan Pac. No its rather Marina Square to act as V.As. The 4 of us. It was rather tiring. Guany and i so miss our walkies and the people around mezzanine. Shou can't wait to se her mr handsomes. That took 2 days out of the 10. =(

Gerry. Protocol cum driver. He has been far too sweet and wonderful. Great stories and company. Who in the right mind would be able to guess he's reaching 50? No way! He's way too cool! Been loving his presence. And the sweet aramis watch he gave me. =)

The gorgeous CLEO bachelor we met at Carl's junior. He's situated at 4B mezzanine and we never noticed him. Can u believe it! Nicholas Leong. He's hot. Took pictures and greedy us asked for autograph. "To the cutest girl in Suntec. Was nice meeting you." was the message he wrote for me. =)

Jiemei! The security. Big size and tall one at that. Told us interesting stars he protected and all. You can't stop laughing at his actions. No way. Never seen anyone who dare to act so gay. Great job!

I'm the sweet person! as in giving out sweets. Sick of NETS sweets? Too bad my job to to help give them all out.
The pink lady thought me a lot. The entire experience. Everyone who was part of this imf. It has been totally fantastic.

The second last night with my dearest tr02. How can i forget about them. I believed Caroline had a wonderful birthday and the rest of us enjoyed ourselves greatly. Especially the super beautiful fireworks. Its especially nice when you get to watch it with people you enjoy to be with. =) We were shouting "We are Singapore!" And special people we met etc. I love you guys totally.

1st day
-was really busy
-interesting VAs and CFAs
-nice securities (mr tall and fierce told us stories)
-helped unpluck electrical appliances in a room with one of the head
-had fun chit chatting
-ms pinkie lady had demands
-paintings not centralized and stuff
-had to go around to put sweet bowls and stole lots to give around
-food suck

2nd day
-started out nothing much to do
-talked to new faces
-ms pinkie lady talked to kenny and i
-requests made again
-toilets comments
-gereth yen ling guany and i almost died laughing
-she gave chocolate biscuits and we decided not to eat
-asked by those SMGs people if we are ready for any interviews not =X
-made a "jie-mei" with the tall security (he's an ass. kept making fun of me. haha.)
-met a protocol while out with tiff
-jerry
-he rocks!
-he drives a bm
-he owns a baby lexus
-he is really cool

i thought i was supposed to be tired. I remembered yawning many times jsut now but it seems as if i can't get to bed now. That's bad.

Met tiff at around 1 plus? then we st off for marina square. Had yoshinoya for lunch and then we went shopping! Tiff got one nice adidas wallet and it's so worth it. Saw jocelyn and xiuzhen so we set off for suntec together. It isn't nice to be early because we ended up standing around waiting. After what seems like zillion of years, we finally see people crawling in. Signed our names, took our access cards and badges then went for some walkabout.
Not fair! Tiff has an Iraq delegate near her patrol area. Karyn has a switzerland one and Shou has mexico and spain one BUT poor guany and i. We were supposed to patrol zone 4B and we got SINGAPORE. Fantastic i suppose. Oh man. it's going to be worse then boring. Everything was supposed to be from 2 till 6pm but they changed it to 4 till 8pm. Our steamboat was cancelled. =(
Tiff and i sneaked off after that. Fire drill's a waste of time. Ok, just giving ourselves excuses to go shopping. She had to get her black covered shoes somehow. We left then went back to suntec convention againg then off again.
But we did get our retribution by sneaking off. The stupid train actually stalled for around 20 minutes? We got out at somerset wanting to walk to orchard cause we heard the announcement saying train fault will delay for 20 minutes and after we walked out, the door closed and it left. So we refused to walk and waited for another train. It came but it ended up stalling at Somerset for like 15minutes? Everyone was damn pissed.
We had dinner at Scotts. i was craving for spicy food but the tom-yum seafood kway teow was not spicy at all! Irritating! Walked around far east. Wanted to get shoes but it was kind of rushed so tiff ended getting her covered shoes. We were craving for ice-cream but!
We finally realized the importance of finding a job soon. As in really soon. It's been ages since we last went out like that and i had a great time gossiping and talking with her. Eating shopping and fun! =D
Oh no! i'm going suntec tomorrow again! For marche with them. =) it's been so long. 2 days of suntec last week. (was it?) 3 days of suntec this week. 10 days of suntec the next 2 weeks. Great!

i was damn tired last night and I almost thought I could die!!! BUT i didn't do anything at all except going out for breakfast and buy stuff with my mum. slacked at home then had to dress in that cleaner. nono is environmental executive uniform to suntec. luckily i had guany to accompany me. But I should say it was super last minute. The other 3 yr 3s from np are nice people too. met her and change into the top then we were being let into this holding area. we mingled around and talked to those airport liaison officer and those SP, SMU people etc. We talked to few DLO (direct liaison officers) too. There are all so humorous.
We waited super long or “just the PM” (well he’s also human) to arrive. The securities around him were so alert and they even manage to check out little things and took precautions. We were standing in one big group and he came over and shook our hands then asked about our roles and we told him. Luckily he didn’t ask much if not it spells trouble. Then it was reception time. The food all looks very presentable. Although it was am tired to be standing or so may hours a smiling non-stop. I mean seriously non-stop, but I managed to learn a lot from it.

I cooked pasta just now and it was in such high demand that I didn’t cook enough of it. I should have cooked more. So bored. Tomorrow there will be a fire drill then my class steamboat. few nights ago I had super freezing dinner with meiyi jocelyn and xiuzhen and tomorrow will be a ultra warm one. Looking forward. =)
